PALS Industry Internship
Industry Internships
This program has two objectives: (1) enable PALS Partner Institute (PI) students to complement their classroom education with exposure to work and (2) provide PALS Industry Partners (IP) opportunities to orient promising students with their business.
Students are selected after a rigorous process of written test and telephonic or face-to-face interviews, after meeting minimum academic criteria. Core Industry IPs offer 6-8 week summer internships while Information Technology IPs offer long-term internships for 3-6 months.
These internships help students understand IP business, including operations, customer handling, and their industry and market dynamics, which may culminate in job offers based upon the performance of the students.
Covid-19 Impact: Given ongoing uncertainty, all industry internships are likely to be conducted virtually through appropriate technology platforms through the foreseeable future.
PALS and one of the Industry partner will be the host for this event
The internship usually happens onsite at the campus of the industry partner. However this year it may be done remotely.
PALS PMO will be the contact person for all enquiries
This event would be program management by a PALS Champion
