Summit on Engineering Education
Every year, during or around the month of March, PALS conducts a half day program on “Summit on Engineering Education”. This is intended for the Senior Management of its Partner Institutes.
Prominent personalities from Education, Industry and Government are invited by PALS to speak and debate on a topic on Engineering Education which is chosen by PALS based on the current and happening events in the field. Each invited person presents his or her respective views on the topic – which includes:
- The state of affairs as viewed by them in their respective sectors
- The future trends as viewed by them for the Engineering Education
- The policies and other steps taken/planned/envisaged in their respective sectors and how they would benefit Engineering Education.
The agenda would consist of individual talks or round table discussions or both, along with Q&A from the audience. The audience would consist of senior management of PALS Partner Institutes, and also those of other institutes invited by PALS. They will get opportunities to speak their views either during the sessions or during the networking sessions.
